🇧🇬 Across the Rhodopes by Narrow-Gauge Train | Septemvri to Dobrinishte

We’re taking one of Bulgaria’s most beautiful railway journeys - the narrow-gauge line from Septemvri all the way to Dobrinishte.

For hours, the little train winds through mountains, valleys, villages and the changing landscapes of the Rhodopes, before we finally arrive in the small mountain town of Dobrinishte.

After the ride, Niya and I wander around town for a while, take in the atmosphere, and end the day with dinner at a local inn.

This is one of those simple journeys I love - no grand plan, just a train, a place to discover, and a day unfolding along the way.
